Squirrel Scouts

Squirrels is our brand new section for young girls and boys ages 4 to 6, to help young people gain skills for life at a time when it matters most and where it’s most needed.

Squirrels can achieve anything they set their minds to – and they have lots of fun along the way!

The one-hour sessions are a brilliant opportunity for young people to take their first step into being part of Scouts, and they’ll help everyone get ready for the adventure of school too.

Sessions are be packed with outdoors activities, fun, games, badges, laughter, and so much more to help our youngest members learn the skills they need for life. Of course, none of it would be possible without the support of the amazing leaders who plan and deliver such an inspiring programme. 

Most of the adventure happens each Friday afternoon between 4:00 and 5:00 through term time at our own headquarters on Gunton Lane off Norwich Road, Costessey, Norwich. There’s a map and more details on how to get in touch on our Join Scouts page.

On some weekends we have overnight sleepovers and camps and also meet up with other Squirrels from across the Northern Norwich Scout District for exciting trips and events.

Hire our Hall

You can book our hall for parties, functions, meetings and other events. The hall is used most weeknights for Scouts & Guiding, but is available weekday daytime and most weekends are also available to hire.
